HOUSE RULES

The following persons are prohibited from placing a sports betting wager or collecting winnings on wagers:

  1. A patron who is not of legal age to wager.
  2. A patron who is self-excluded or barred.
  3. Any individual whose participation may undermine the integrity of the wagering, the sports event, or the other event;
  4. Any individual who is listed on the Nebraska Gaming’s Self-Exclusion List;
  5. Any individual who is athlete, coach, referee, player, trainer, or personnel of a sports organization in any sports event or other event overseen by that individual’s sports organization who, based on information that is not publicly available, has the ability to determine or to unlawfully influence the outcome of a wager;
  6. An individual who holds a position or authority or influence sufficient to exert influence over the participants in a sporting contest, including coaches, managers, handlers, and athletic trainers, such that their actions can affect the outcome of a wager;
  7. An individual with access to exclusive information on any sports event or other event overseen by that individual sport’s governing body that is not publicly available information, or any individual identified by any list provided by the sport’s governing body to the Warhorse Sportsbook.

In-State Wagering – A wager may not be placed on a collegiate game involving a Nebraskan team or athlete while they are playing in the state of Nebraska. As defined in Nebraska Statute 9-1103:

  1. (3)(a) Except as otherwise provided in subdivision (b) of this subdivision, authorized sporting event means a professional sporting event, a collegiate sporting event, an international sporting event, a professional motor race event, a professional sports draft, an individual sports award, an electronic sport, or a simulated game; and
  2. (3)(b) Authorized sporting event does not include an instate collegiate sporting event in which an instate collegiate or university team is a participant, a pari-mutuel wager, a fantasy sports contest, a minor league sporting event, a sporting event at the high school level or below regardless of the age of any individual participant, or any sporting event excluded by the commission.
  3. (14) Sports wagering means the acceptance of wagers on an authorized sporting event by any system of wagering as authorized by the commission. Sports wagering does not include:
  1. (14)(a) placing a wager on the performance or nonperformance of any individual athlete participating in a single game or match of a collegiate sporting event in which a collegiate team from this state is participating,
  2. (14)(b) placing an in-game wager on any game or match of a collegiate sporting event in which a collegiate team from this state is participating,
  3. (14)(c) placing a wager on the performance or nonperformance of any individual athlete under eighteen years of age participating in a professional or international sporting event, or
  4. (14)(d) placing a wager on the performance of athletes in an individual sporting event excluded by the commission.

The house rules govern the use of the WarHorse Gaming LLC’s Sportsbooks wagering operations located at WarHorse Casino – Lincoln and WarHorse Casino - Omaha. WarHorse Gaming LLC utilizes Kambi as their Sports Wagering Service Provider. All ticket grading is done by Kambi and is accordance to the house rules outlined below. Guests are encouraged to read the house rules. They are readily available on kiosks, the WarHorse app, online at warhorsecasino.com or in physical copy form at the sports betting window. When placing a bet with a WarHorse Casino, the guest is agreeing that they have read, understood, and agree to these House Rules.

WarHorse has all the popular wager types:

  • Single-game bets (Straight bets)
  • Parlay bets (up to 20 events may be combined)
  • Teasers bets (and Teaser+)
  • Round Robin bets
  • System bets
  • Team Proposition bets
  • Player Proposition bets
  • Pre-game bets
  • In-Game bets
  • Futures (or Outright or Place)
  • Prebuilt Parlay bets

All wagers are cash only (no table games chips, slot vouchers, credit cards etc.) and will be evidenced by a ticket. Once a wager is accepted by both parties, tickets will not be altered or voided except at the discretion of WarHorse Gaming LLC. Games that have started and games where odds have changed not eligible for voids. All patrons are responsible for ensuring accuracy of the ticket prior placing a wager at a sports betting kiosk or leaving the sportsbook window. Tickets go as written at sportsbook kiosks. No winning wager will be paid without the customer copy of the ticket except as deemed necessary by WarHorse Gaming LLC. If the sports wagering system goes down, no bet acceptance or payouts will occur. Sports wagering systems must be operational to process bets or payouts.

All bet selections are subject to pre-imposed wagering limits set solely at WarHorse Gaming LLC’s discretion. Should this limit be reached, a patron has the right to ask for it to be increased by making a request at WarHorse Gaming LLC’s sports betting facilities in Lincoln or Omaha, or if mobile on-premises wagering is available, through the WarHorse Casino sports betting platform while located within the boundaries of the WarHorse Casino – Lincoln and WarHorse Casino - Omaha. WarHorse Gaming LLC reserves the right to accept (fully or partially) or reject the said request without any prior notice and further explanation. If it is determined wagering limits are being exceeded intentionally due to guest collusion or otherwise, WarHorse Gaming LLC reserves the right to void the impacted ticket(s). WarHorse may require a WarHorse Rewards Card for certain wagers and/or wager amounts.

All bets placed through any WarHorse Casino platform, including bets requiring manual approval, may be subject to a time delay prior to acceptance, the length of which may vary. Such delay is to be determined by WarHorse Gaming LLC at its sole discretion.

Winning tickets may be redeemed at any WarHorse Gaming LLC Sportsbook location, including WarHorse Casino Lincoln and WarHorse Casino Omaha. Patrons may redeem winning tickets at either the sportsbook window during normal operating hours or casino cage when the sportsbook window is closed (if applicable).

Redemption of tickets of valued over $600.00 and odds greater than 300:1, will require the patron to provide valid identification. WarHorse Gaming LLC is prohibited from making payments to any person who is currently listed on the Nebraska Self-Exclusion List. Redemption of tickets of valued over $5,000.00 and odds greater than 300:1 will be run through wager intercept check. If a Nebraska state debt is found, a portion, or all the winnings are intercepted and sent to the state agency to pay the outstanding debt obligation. All 300-1 wager payouts will be processed at the casino cage.

The Sportsbook shall be capable of preventing any wager or payout of more than $10,000 until authorized by a supervisor and proper Title 31 procedures are followed.

WarHorse Casino is not responsible for misprinted, lost, stolen, unreadable and/or damaged, forged or altered tickets. Additionally, WarHorse Gaming LLC is not responsible for any lost or stolen ticket being cashed out. For any forgotten, lost or stolen tickets to be honored, the rightful owner of a winning ticket must be determined by surveillance review, before any ticket is reprinted or payment made, regardless of if a rewards card was used or not at the time of ticket purchase. For all lost, stolen, or unreadable tickets where the rightful owner cannot be immediately determined, the waiting period for honored claims will be 90 calendar days from the date of the event, after which the ticket will be void. All determinations concerning the owner of lost or stolen tickets shall lie in the absolute discretion of WarHorse Gaming LLC and shall be final.

If it is determined from surveillance review that a patron did not fully pay for ticket(s) at the betting window, the ticket(s) will be frozen. If the ticket(s) win, the patron will be notified upon ticket redemption of the error made at the time of bet placement. The tickets will be unfrozen and the outstanding balance owed to WarHorse Gaming LLC will be deducted from the winnings. If the winnings do not fully offset the amount owed, the patron will be asked to pay the difference. If the patron refuses guidance of them not paying the full amount at bet placement, they will be referred to NRGC to verify the transaction.

If it is determined from surveillance review that a patron was overpaid or underpaid at time of ticket redemption at the sportsbook window, the patron will be asked to repay the amount overpaid or WarHorse will attempt identify and repay the patron if shorted. If the patron refuses, WarHorse Gaming LLC reserves the right to prohibit any future wagering in the casino until the amount is repaid.

Patrons observed behaving inappropriately or that are harassing casino patrons or WarHorse Gaming LLC staff may be asked to leave the casino and/or have their sports wagering capabilities taken away.

WarHorse Gaming LLC may conduct periodic KYC or Know Your Customer protocols. KYC is used to verify customer identities, assess risks, and comply with regulations like anti-money laundering (AML) rules. This involves collecting and verifying documents to prove identity and address, conducting risk assessments which may include the sourcing of the wagering funds, and monitoring accounts for suspicious activities to prevent fraud, identity theft, money laundering, and terrorist financing.

All wagers will be deemed to have been accepted from the person placing the wager only, and not on behalf of any third party. Proxy betting is prohibited and is against state law. Wagers shall only be cashed out by the original ticket purchaser.

Identification information is required at certain thresholds of wagers and payouts in accordance with State and Federal Regulators.

Management reserves the right to limit or refuse any wager.

Winning tickets are not redeemable by mail. Vouchers expire 90 days from the date of issuance. Sports wagering tickets expire 365 days from the date of the event occurring.

Odds may change on tickets due to injuries, postponements, lineup changes etc.  It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to understand how their odds may be affected by various changes as outlined in the house rules.  If there is an integrity issue surrounding an event as identified by the International Betting Integrity Association, WarHorse will post a message at www.warhorsecasino.com/sportsbook and post details at the retail sportsbook windows.

Any dispute relating to how wagering tickets are graded in accordance with the house rules should be emailed to sportsbook@warhorsegaming.com or brought up to the Sportsbook Supervisor at the retail location during the sportsbook’s standard hours of operation. Please allow up to 5 business days for an official response. Should the response not be considered satisfactory, a dispute may be filed with NRGC by completing the NRGC Complaint form at nrgc.nebraska.gov.
